I was disappointed to find that the room lacked basic seating accommodations, specifically a sofa or a comfortable armchair. Given that I paid a premium rate of $[Price] per night, the expectation was for a room furnished for comfort and utility beyond just a bed. In a market like Chico, paying a "decent amount" usually guarantees a higher standard of room layout. Being forced to use the bed as the primary seating area for the duration of my stay felt inconsistent with the price point and the service level your hotel aims to provide.
